It's all good, but I could have used three times that much information on this parallel plane. The archfey building section is wor [ Austin B. Thanks to this supplement, I think I finally can wrap my head around how the Feywild works. This PDF is amazing. It talks about the Seelie and Unseelie Courts.
It talks about Fey Contracts and how they're made, including all kinds of things [ Daniel C. I liked the first half. I enjoyed reading it. Constructing an Arch Fey is useful. I like the curses In my oppinion the [ Thoroughly enjoyed this supplement.
One of my favorite parts to Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft was the section about creating your own domains of dread and the dark lords that inhabit them, and this is just as fun and well crafted. Phenomenal so [ See All Ratings and Reviews. Browse Categories. DMs Guild. Guild Adept.

I mean, if you click on a field you previously entered text into, does the text re-appear, until you click back out of it? Or, Is the field empty and even if you re-enter the text it still goes away when you click out of it? Or, do the fields simply not allow text to be entered.
Are the offending boxes all text boxes? Do all of the calculations function correctly? The more specific you can be the better my chance of fixing this. Thanks again for your help. The box that you type in the name of the weapon works fine. The Reach or Range box you can see what you type in but once you click on another field it disappears. The Type box you can see what you type in but once you click on another field it disappears.
If you check mark the little box for Ability the Damage Bonus shows up but you need to click on the Update Calulation button to get the right Damage Bonus. The Proficiency check box showes the check mark and shows the Proficiency bonus in the box under the check mark and that number gets added in to the Atack Bonus right.
The Misc bonus box works right and that number gets added in to the Atack Bonus. The Misc bonus box works right and that number gets added in to the Damage Bonus. The Damage Dice box you can see what you type in but once you click on another field it disappears.
I just tried out rev4b and it seems to be working well. The problem I had with the Weapon boxes is gone now. You can see all text inputs now. Update, found a problem. In the last Weapon box on page 1. The damage bonus does not show. Update: The notes on page 1 have a problem. The first line is ok, but everything after that is off.
Try it now rev4c. I fixed the last weapon box on page 1. And I fixed the text not lining up with the lines on the notes section on page 1. As for only being able to load PDF files for character sketches, this is a limitation of Adobe Acrobat. I would much rather allow inserting any graphic file format, or if I had to choose one, I would pick JPG. Thank you very much for your help, and your patience. I tried out rev4c and it works well.
I just thought I would ask to see if it could be changed to make it a little bit easier. Thanks again for all your hard work. My main idea for the race and background section was that, as a player, I was always trying to figure out where all of my numbers came from. First off I want to thank you.
I do have a question though. I filled out the sheet on my web browser and saved it. Once it was saved all the filled information was wiped. I tried to make another attempt by saving the file to my computer and filling out the saved file but it loses its autocalculation abilities. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way around this or a way to fix it?
It was never intended to be filled out in your web browser. That may be causing your problems. I believe that if you download the PDF file to your computer first, then copy it to another name and use Adobe Reader to fill it in and then save it you will avoid the problems you are having. Let me know if doing it this way solves your problem. I do have a suggestion for a feature, though. Being an expert in a proficient skill doubles the proficiency bonus on skill checks.
With the weapon named, everything else is fine, just the information for those fields do not stay. Looking above, I see someone else mentioned this above. Thanks for the comment. This is a good suggestion, and I could see where it is needed for rogues.
However, I think it would add a lot of complexity to the sheet that might be confusing to players of non-rogues. However, a class specific sheet, just for rogues, might be a good idea. Of course that opens a big can of worms. Each class will want their own sheet. And then what about muti-class characters?
For now I guess you will have to handle it with notes. The sheet does work better for lower level characters. Perhaps some day I will get really energetic and try to do a more complex sheet that will handle all cases. I am working on fixing that. If you know of any Adobe Acrobat experts I could use some help solving that one.
If I make changes to the offensive fields in a different editor, in this case PDF-XChange, everything works fine, but the font is different and too big — a defect of the editor, not your forms. When I save the changes and open it in Adobe Reader v Which version of Adobe Reader did you test it on? Regarding rogue sheets, I completely understand.
I was hoping it would be a somewhat simple fix, such as the proficiency check boxes having two types of check marks, where a second click would double the proficiency bonus, and a third click would uncheck it.
It sounds like a problem displaying a particular font. What I can do is check what font it is using and change it to a common font. I will let you know. I obviously have that font. Excellent idea! I will defiantly add that to the next version. Now that I got all of the bugs out of this version, I intent to leave it alone for a while. Right now I am working on a 5e update to Ship-to-ship combat.
My bad. Thanks for catching the spelling error. I will try to remember to fix that on the next update. For the record, I was the worst speller in every class I ever attended. Thank you. I had no idea that it would be so popular. I an glad that so many people are using it.
Your proficiency bonus is added to your ability modifier. Your proficiency bonus increases as your character increases in level. Your ability modifier can increase if you add to that ability score as you increase in levels.
By all means though I am not insulting you or your response, it is very much appreciated that you provided me with the info i requested. What I say is more of a suggestion than anything. Hi Jacob. I appreciate your input. You are not the first to suggest that the form allow for more varied user input. The sidebar boxes and monster stat blocks are fine. I wonder if you had a hint about what might be causing this? Hi Richard, it has something to do with how Word renders some text as images in an attempt to be "helpful" for PDF compatibility.
It also does this with some fonts that it can't embed though that shouldn't be an issue with any of the fonts I include with my doc.
I haven't figured out how to eliminate the issue, but I'll holler if I do! Purchased back in November and have only just had a chance to dive into this over the past week. Thank you Laura. This is a fantastic tool! This is a great product! Is there some option or setting I missed? Hi Mattia, my apologies for overlooking this message before! Did you ever sort it out, or still having this issue? Laura - I've published materials on and off over the last 15 to 20 years and I want to thank you for making this product!
To any purchasers - if you don't have layout experience or time to learn InDesign AND you have access to MS Word this product will allow you to have a very polished product note - it won't help you with writer's block or create content It does not, only Word. The System Requirements section lists which versions of Microsoft Word it will work with.
Hi, I am getting a bar that runs along one column above the text near the end of the document. I can't get rid of it even with reveal codes. If I copy a section from a different part of the document that does not have a bar along the top, that bar still shows up in that location.
Any thoughts on how to remove? Cameron P. Thankyou so much, this is such a wonderful resource for beginers in the homebrew scene [ Troy W. Very nice template. I used this to create lots of new content. David G. I've started using this when writing my own products and it is very easy for a design goober like me to use.
It lets me keep things simple so I can focus on writing more than formatting. Colin S. I just finished creating my first DMs Guild content using this template and I'm not very technically proficient.
