This app is for the real music lovers. It gives you a chance to hear songs that aren't spoon fed to you by the media on a daily basis.

Aka the radio. I like it because it's different. There are other people on this planet that can produce music besides Jayz and slipknot.

Try something new and enjoy new music Good stuff brutha man, good stuff Dec 19, By Baron Bliss. Good, Free, Music Jan 12, By Ajedi Please stop giving this app bad reviews because it doesn't have popular artists.

If you think that's a problem, you obviously don't understand the whole point of Jamendo. Read the description of this app, it's for "access to Jamendo's 20, albums published under the Creative Commons licenses". How many popular artists do you know of who publish their music under the Creative Commons liscence? There's plenty of great music on this app, and it's especially useful if you just want some background music to set the mood. Great job Jamendo, keep up the good work. Jun 14, By Ann-Sharon V.

But the radio part of the app fails to work. It continually tells me it is unable to stream at this time. I most wanted to use the radio portion of this app for music discovery, without that I don't really use it. How am I supposed to I back and listen later to something I found without this basic functionality?

Sep 26, By Anthony Day. Ok so I love discovering new music. The layout is good and the app isn't laggy either. Good job, but there is a big problem. None of the music I download shows up. I know it appears in my files, but my music app cannot detect the songs. I tried a new music app as well and it couldn't find them either.

Please fix this because it's a hassle listening to one at a time Oct 22, By J Mzi. Decent free music service, but the app feels like just a web browser, it's slow to load songs, no preloads on the next song, for some reason I can't delete my old play lists and can't create new ones, app can't remember favorite tracks, and no continuous playback when I'm not using my device, always have to go back to the app for it to load the next track.

Doesnt behave the way a music player should. I really like Jamendo, and artist and music on it but the app needs work. Dec 15, By A Google user. I love Jamendo, but this app seems to be just a webview. Too small text size, cookie notification and no Chromecast support which seems quite essential for a media app nowadays if you ask me.

Jul 10, By Gondliya Bhavik. Music is good.. Question Apr 20, By Definitelydede. How do I download music to my iPhone through this app? By IM Kitty. I've had Jamendo on my computer for months and just downloaded the iTunes app.

Most of the time I just tune into a Radio stream that matches my mood at the time. Excellent alternative music source Aug 10, By iCrapMyPlants.

Jamendo is my go-to source for music when I want to hear something different from the usual commercialized stuff. I can always find a new funky beat on Jamendo from somewhere around the world. And those of you down rating this App and it's associated site because it doesn't play Top40 are only showing your ignorance and lack of culture. For the rest of you, explore some music from around the world and I'm postitive that you'll find a new song or artist for whatever mood your in.

If it was mainstream music Aug 5, By fireyeyedtyrants. It wouldn't be both free and legal. You guys do realize that there was a time that Kanye West, Eminem and Lady Gaga were aspiring artists that you hadn't heard about, right?

The other positive reviewer is right- turn on your radio, and buy their overpriced CDs. Or torrent if you want to go the illegal route. But don't complain about something free If you actually listen and hate all the music, write about that.

Otherwise, please hush. Off the Beaten Path! Jun 4, By Seiken This is an awesome source for Indie Music! People who rate this app low seem to expect big name and top 40 talent. Definitely use this app in the car when driving back and forth on long drives. Nov 27, By Paul Fournier. Great app, great design, easy to use and navigate with tons of cool new music. The only problem I've got with this app is the absence of a player notification, which makes it a lot less smooth to use than it should be.

Great for hipsters! Dec 24, By jkhinzman. They really should have put "does not contain signed artists" in all caps several times since people don't seem to get that. With that having been said, this is a solid implementation of the jamendo catalog. The app works, you just have to be willing to listen to new music. I would think the hipsters would be all over this, it's as underground as it gets.

Mi have found some amazing bands on Jamendo, dig around, find something new. Great Indie Music! Apr 25, By xntric1. As far as the music goes, it is slowly becoming my turn-to for "tuneage" As for the app Many thanks to the team s that keep the app going as well as the people who continue to put content on the site You bring me smiles on a daily basis! Like I said, there's something for everyone on here.

Don't be afraid to check it out The one annoying part in this whole app is, it says free music is canceled at the very top of the app. And I was lost to what that meant. But then it kept on coming and I was irritated with that. But other than that the app works like a charm and you get free music and you can listen to any song, songs that are not even English.

And you can also have a playlist filled with your favorite songs and have fun with it. All you have to do is click the three dots on the side of the music and you can add it to your playlist. I have had it for more than 4 months!!! And this app till this day is my 1 go to for listening music.

I hope this helps you make a decision. We have fixed some bugs! Please update the app to the latest version.
